Are Arkam UV-C LED harmful for humans?

Harmfulness is according to UV-C dose received, according to ISO 15858 standard. Our UV-C LED are effective with less energy emission than other products such as tubes or krypton lamps, meaning the same efficiency with less harmfulness. However, authorities recommend that humans must not stay under UV-C light while modules are in operation. In this way, we added a movement detector in our products to ensure that nobody could be exposed to UV-C light.

I’ve been accidentally exposed to Arkam UV-C light, what is the risk?

No risk at all. Our product could be harmful after several minutes of exposition, but the integrated sensor shuts down UV-C in a second.
